As many of my friends are aware, I've been talking about hiking the Continental Divide Trail for months now. The countdown has officially begun, and on April 10th I'll be taking a Greyhound bus from Phoenix to Lordsburg New Mexico. I'll spend the night there, and then at 6:30 in the morning of the 11th I'll be taking the CDT shuttle to the CDT Southern Terminus. From there I'll start hiking for about 4 days northbound towards until I reach Lordsburg again. From there I'll spend the night, resupply, and then make my way up the CDT. There are a lot of alternate routes on the CDT, but I'll be mostly sticking to the "red line." The main alternate trail will be the Gila River section. My journey will continue up through Colorado, Wyoming, Idaho, Montana and finish in Waterton Canada.
